8 Nano Banana 2 prompts to adapt for your next image

Eight complete prompt examples for product scenes, portraits, interiors, posters and comic panels.

Oct 30, 2026

These eight prompts are editable starting points for the image workspace. They are not ranked test results or guaranteed outputs. Replace the subject with your own brief, add a reference when useful and check the model settings and credit estimate before generating.

1. Clean product scene

A ceramic soap dispenser on pale limestone, soft window light from the left, realistic glazed texture, subtle contact shadow, centered composition, no added text. Preserve the product silhouette from the reference.

2. Lifestyle product photograph

The reference travel mug on a small outdoor café table at sunrise. Warm light, shallow depth of field, a folded newspaper in the background. Keep the mug color, handle and label recognizable.

3. Editorial cover

A landscape editorial cover about quiet city mornings: one cyclist crossing an empty street, muted blue and warm cream palette, long soft shadows, clear space in the upper third for a title, no generated lettering.

4. Natural portrait

An adult portrait beside a north-facing window, relaxed expression, simple dark clothing, soft background, realistic skin texture and gentle contrast. Keep the face unobstructed and avoid heavy retouching.

5. Interior concept

A compact living room with warm oak shelves, a linen sofa and an olive accent chair. Morning daylight, eye-level wide composition, believable room proportions. Preserve window and doorway positions from the reference.

6. Product poster concept

A vertical campaign poster concept for the reference water bottle, bold teal background, one large hero product, subtle shadow, generous blank headline area and a small blank footer area. Do not invent logos, prices or product claims.

7. Food photograph

A bowl of roasted tomato soup on a rustic table, visible herb garnish, gentle steam, soft side lighting, realistic ingredients, close three-quarter view, uncluttered background, no text or additional utensils.

8. Comic panel

A single manga-style panel: an adult explorer discovers a greenhouse inside an abandoned station. Strong foreground silhouette, detailed vines, light through broken glass, clear focal point, expressive pose, no speech bubbles or lettering.

Change one thing at a time

Keep the subject fixed and vary lighting, framing or color. Save the prompt beside each useful output so you can repeat the direction. If labels or small text must be exact, add them manually after generation.

Common questions

Do these prompts require a reference image?

No. The product and interior examples can benefit from a reference, but you can also rewrite them as text-only scenes.

Are the examples actual benchmark results?

No. They are sample briefs. Output quality depends on the model, inputs and settings; review the actual result.

How do I make the image fit a layout?

Choose an available aspect ratio and describe the space you need. Check the downloaded image dimensions before placing it in a design.

Try one useful variation

Choose the closest example, replace the subject and write the details that must remain. Generate one version, inspect it and refine the brief.
